Pickup, Devanning & Final-Mile Delivery FAQ

Once CBP releases the cargo, ANL's own overseas warehouse dispatches drayage and completes container pickup within 24 hours of arrival at the destination port; FCL is devanned, sorted and palletized within 24 hours of warehouse arrival. Our warehouse sits close to the terminal, so truck turnaround is fast and berth-waiting and detention charges stay low. Accurate clearance documents are the precondition — a declaration anomaly slows pickup immediately.

Costs fall into three parts of the DDP total: terminal drayage and container pickup, overseas warehouse devanning/palletizing, and final-mile truck or parcel delivery. Because our warehouse is near the port, trucking and chassis costs are more competitive, and the U-Shipment system keeps pricing transparent and billing accurate. When quoting, ask your sales contact for an itemized breakdown rather than a single lump figure.

ANL runs a closed loop — clearance, pickup, devanning and delivery — rather than handing the container over once clearance is done. Our own trucking fleet, own overseas warehouse and compliant clearance team operate in one system: after release, pickup orders, devanning schedules and final-mile dispatch flow through the same platform, eliminating the usual cross-party waits of "broker waiting for drayage, truck waiting for devanning."

Clearance is the gate ahead of pickup and delivery, but pacing is set mainly by pickup/devanning resources. Our US East Coast express line runs: ocean to Los Angeles 12–14 days, line-haul trucking 5–7 days, clearance–pickup–devanning 1–3 days, FBA delivery 7–8 days, 26 calendar days door to door. Clearance itself takes hours to about a day; the handoff efficiency between pickup and devanning is the real variable behind the 1–3 day window.
